During 1988 in the occupied west bank of Palestine, following a protest met with violence, a teenage protestor speaks to his mother, Hanan; she begins to tell him their family's history. Over three generations, reaching from the Nakba onwards, Hanan tells of the family's struggles and hopes since the day they were uprooted from their homeland.
Written, directed by, and starring the acclaimed Palestinian director Cherian Dabis, All That's Left of You was inspired by her own family. In Dabis' words, she was motivated to examine the inheritance of trauma and identity her Palistinian family carries. All That's Left of You has won several awards across multiple film festivals and was Jordan's submission for Best Internation Feature Film at the 2025 Academy Awards.
