Interactive Cinema Space, Room 353, Arts West

Film Society

Having been to the mid-90s with Clueless and the future with Mickey 17, for our regular screening on campus this Friday we'll next be travelling into ancient mythology with an obscure (but hugely acclaimed by those who have seen it) Hungarian animated fantasy adventure, and one of the trippiest and prettiest of all time: Son of the White Mare!

When: 3:00pm, Friday March 14
Where: Interactive Cinema Space, Room 353, Arts West - North Wing (Building 148a)
Free: PIZZA and DRINKS before the film! 🍕🥤

A creation and decreation story full to the frame with elemental colours, fluid geometry and cyclical symbolism, in this dreamlike folk tale made into film form by Marcell Jankovics, a horse goddess gives birth to three powerful brothers who set out into the Underworld to save three princesses from three evil dragons and reclaim their ancestors' lost kingdom.

After the movie, we'll head to either the Ida Bar on campus or The Clyde Hotel right next to campus for drinks and discussion. 🍻
