Hi Habitat Homies!

What is the AGM? What happens at the AGM?

  1. An Annual General Meeting is where YOU get to democratically elect who you want on the Melbourne University Habitat for Humanity committee for 2024! The AGM is crucial to our club and we encourage all members to attend and take part! All members who are UniMelb students are eligible to vote and self-nominate.

  2. We will be holding elections for our 2024/2025 Executive Committee, which includes President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Events Directors (2), and Publicity Director.

  3. Come at 6:15 on Thursday 29th of August to Arts West (Building 148A) Room 461 for FREE SUSHI and PIZZA for all our members who attend! The AGM will start at 6:30pm

  4. Fill in this form if you are coming to help us gauge how much foood we need (Even if you are not running):

Why join the committee?

Our MUHFH community is student-led and we need your help to continue to bring about change through real, hands-on efforts - such as our Volunteer Build Trips. Being part of a global organisation such as Habitat for Humanity is an invaluable chance to develop professional leadership, team management & interpersonal skills. Plus, you get to make friends, plan events that bring a community together, and even a Melbourne Plus Accreditation by the Uni to get recognised for your work!

How do I join the committee?

1. You can indicate your preferences for a position using this nomination form

2. Attend the AGM - You can also nominate on the day of the AGM:)

As always, please email us if you have any questions about anything at all! E.g. If you're not sure about the workload, or want to know more about the responsibilities under the positions.

Hope to see you there!

Wei Jun

President of Habitat for Humanity
