📢Calling all Computer Science, Engineering, and Design students 📢

💡💡Have an idea for an app, piece of software or even a physical product that you want to bring to life?💡💡

 

The Universal Design Sprint (UDS) invites students to a weekend-long competition to develop an innovative solution that can help make the world a more inclusive and accessible place for everyone, with a particular focus on increasing accessibility in Technology, for people with disabilities, and better design for 🌍 everyone 🌍  .

 

Not studying computer science? 💻 No worries! 

 

UDS is designed for people from diverse backgrounds and specialisations to work collaboratively, regardless of what you’re studying, whether it’s computer science, engineering, design, architecture, or something else entirely. 👨‍🎨🧑‍💼👩‍🔬✨

 

You’ll work in a group of 3-4 people to create your product, with support from the UMSU Disabilities Department and student clubs including MBSI, MUEEC, DES, WIT, HackMelbourne, MESS and CISSA.

🕛 Friday - 17:30 - 21:00, Saturday - 10:00-18:00, Sunday - 10:00-16:00

🌆 In-person at Melbourne Connect, the University of Melbourne, Parkville Campus
