Wildlife Walk @ Newport Lakes Reserve

Hey WCSers,

We're back with another wildlife walk this semester! Join us for a morning at the beautiful Newport Lakes Reserve for the opportunity to spot Superb Fairywrens or even a Blue-tongued Skink!

Once a bluestone quarry, this hidden gem 💎 of a reserve now sports a stunning lake filled with life that you can get across via stepping stones!

🕙 Time: 9.30am - 11.30am

Getting there 🚘

• On your own
  • Meet us opposite the Newport Lakes Reserve carpark at 9.30am (marked in the photo below)
  • If you're driving, there is a carpark at the reserve. Parking is free!

• With the committee
  • Meet us in front of Flinders Street Station 8.15am.

Items to bring 🎒

1. ​Your myki card (if you are travelling with us)
2. Binoculars (if you have them!)
3. Water bottle
4. Sunscreen
5. Hat
6. Umbrella
