Discover one of the world's most exciting and rapidly emerging wine regions...

Over the past decade, China's wine industry has undergone a remarkable transformation, with innovative producers crafting high-quality wines that are earning international attention. Join us for an exclusive Chinese Wine Masterclass, hosted by Hamish Williams of Periphery Wine.

Hamish has built Periphery Wine around a simple philosophy: celebrating independent producers, environmentally conscious viticulture and quality-driven winemaking while introducing wine drinkers to this exciting advent of wine history all happening in China. Through Periphery, he has connected Victorian drinkers with a diverse range of producers from across China, showcasing everything from Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay to distinctive varieties such as Marselan, Saperavi, Longyan (Dragon's Eye) and Muscat Hamburg.

This guided tasting will explore the unique regions, grape varieties and stories shaping modern Chinese wine. Whether you're a seasoned wine society member or simply curious to discover something new, this promises to be an eye-opening evening that challenges expectations and expands horizons. Your ticket includes a guided tasting over 5-6 Chinese wines and charcuterie platters to share.
