Dive into the world of sound with our comprehensive four-part workshop series. Perfect for aspiring audio technicians, music enthusiasts, and event managers.

1. CAPTURE 
Explore sound fundamentals, acoustics, and recording techniques.

Discover sound from a different perspective in this first workshop as we explore how frequencies, harmonics, electronics and the brain interact to make the music we hear and feel. We will investigate acoustics, microphones, recording techniques, technology, and the Universe...

2. PROCESS (THU 19 SEP, 12pm - 2pm)
Hands-on experience with audio mixing consoles, effects, and DJ equipment.
3. TRANSMIT (Thu 26 Sep, 12pm - 2pm)
Focus on loudspeakers, venue acoustics, and sound for video.
4. THE EVENT (Thu 03 Oct, 12pm - 6pm)
Exclusive to Workshop 1-3 participants. Set up and run a live music event with AVMelbourne.
Note: The final workshop allows flexible attendance within the 6-hour timeframe.
