This Women’s Health Day is not just another event—it’s a celebration of everything that makes us strong, unique, and wonderfully complex. It is out of 3 different sessions. All free with catering! Ready to feel empowered?
Session 1: Safer Sex & Sexual Health
In collaboration with the Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health, this workshop is all about empowerment through knowledge. From protecting your sexual health to understanding the ins and outs of STIs, we’ll equip you with the tools you need to stay safe, confident, and in control. We’ll also discuss the power of consent, intimacy, and how to navigate sexual relationships with respect and understanding.
Choose your language: English or Mandarin
Location: Market Hall B189, G01 & G02
Time: 12-1PM

Session 2: Meal prep with a nutritionist
Calling all women: want strong bonds, sustained energy, and a regular period? Join us for an engaging and informative workshop on women’s unique nutritional needs. This workshop will focus on iron for a healthy menstrual cycle and calcium to build strong bones and prevent osteoporosis. We’ll explore the risks of under-fuelling—especially for active women and what it means when your period goes missing (plus how to get it back!). You’ll learn to decode food labels, choose nutrient-dense, fortified options, and plan meals which truly support your health. Finally, our fun “Build Your Plate” activity will show you how to swap out nutrient-poor foods for delicious, nourishing alternatives—no need to trade your chocolate for broccoli!"
Location: Room 201, Building 168, The University of Melbourne, Parkville VIC 3010

Session 3: Meditation and Wellbeing
Periods are one of the most powerful natural phenomena. In this meditation session, we will learn how to truly embrace our uterus and periods by diving deep into our inner selves.
Join us for a breathing therapy, meditation and inner healing session, so that we, as women, can come together to embrace our bodies and the natural rhythms within us.
