The University of Melbourne invests millions into fossil fuels companies. This money comes from student tuition fees, and we deserve to know exactly how it is being used. The University says it is committed to responsible investment- but how responsible is investing in fossil fuels giants, and are these companies doing enough?
We’ll talk about:
- What Melbourne Uni is doing right now
- What we can do to get the full picture of investment
- And how we as students can work together to ensure our fees are working towards a truly sustainable future
