200 Berkeley Street Level 2 Physio Prac Rooms

Physiotherapy Students' Society

A senior physiotherapist that works both public and private settings comes in to provide tips and tricks on how to best manage manual handling with the elderly and frail population in an inpatient setting.

The Physio is Jane Tionowidjaja, currently working Brunswick Private and St Vincents, working across the geriatric space, helping patients with multiple co-morbidities and how it affects their daily function. The effects of manual handling masterclass will help to give students a better understanding of how to provide better physical and personalised care.
