Beginners Workshop for Making Games! Pt 1

(Part 1 of 2)

Learn the basics of game development by creating your very own retro arcade game using Godot in this two-part workshop series! Both workshops will take place on Wednesday, 4:30pm to 6:30pm, in Room 211, David Caro Building. This is followed up by a game jam to allow you to practice the lessons you've learnt! A previous background in programming is helpful, but not necessary.

Aims:

Teach the basics to members new to the field of game development, by making a simple game using Godot.
