Special General Meeting – Amnesty | Elections & Constitutional Amendments

This is your opportunity to shape the future of our Amnesty chapter!

At our upcoming Special General Meeting, we will be electing a new Secretary and putting forward proposed constitutional amendments for members to vote on.

If the constitutional amendments are adopted, the following positions will also be open for election:

  • Vice President
  • Events Director
  • Marketing Director
  • Publications Director
  • Partnerships Director

If two or more candidates nominate for the same position, each will deliver a 2-minute speech before members vote.

Eligibility: To nominate for a position, you must have been a member since 5 March (contingent on the relevant constitutional amendment passing).

Getting involved in Amnesty's leadership is a chance to champion human rights, develop real skills, and work alongside a passionate, dedicated team. Whether you're interested in running for a role or simply want to have your say on the direction of our chapter  we'd love to see you there.

All members are encouraged to attend. Come ready to vote, nominate, and be part of something meaningful. 🌍
