We are launching the At Home Arts Festival, a digital space for finding community and sharing your art online while social distancing and/or self isolating.

WHAT: We will celebrate the launch of this festival and announce the first Couch potARTo award winner! This is a weekly prize awarded to the most inventive or creative art or art-making sent in. We might have some spontaneous performances! We might show some of the art already in the festival! We might just drink tea while watching a livestream together. Whatever this opening night is, it will be a celebration of art in all its forms from the comfort of your couch, or bed, or kitchen!

WHERE : Join us this Thursday night via Zoom (

DRESS CODE: Fancy! You’ve probs not been wearing pants all week in tutes because they’re all on zoom and thats okay. Pants still aren’t required for this party but feeling yourself and feeling fun is!

Keep up to date with all of the festival action and ways to get involved through our Facebook group.

This festival is brought to you by the Creative Arts Department of the University of Melbourne Student Union. This event will take place in cyberspace, but we would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which many of us live and work: the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We would also like to acknowledge that all land of so-called “Australia” is stolen and that sovereignty was never ceded.
