Discover Your Potential – Where Physics Takes You: 6pm - 8pm; Laby Theatre, David Caro Building; Whether you’re in Years 8 to 12 and already love science, or just curious about what university life is like, join us during National Science Week for a FREE evening of hands-on science, real stories, and answers to your biggest questions!

Mon 24th August

Synchrotron Tour: 10am - noon; Australian Synchrotron (800 Blackburn Rd, Clayton); Join us for a behind the scenes tour of the Australian Synchrotron! Located in Clayton, Victoria, this stadium-sized particle accelerator uses a 3-gigaelectronvolt (3 GeV) storage ring to accelerate electrons to near the speed of light.

Seminar Series: Toby Hendy (Tibees): noon - 1pm; tbd; Many of you may know Toby Hendy as the creator of the YouTube channel Tibees, where she explores physics, mathematics and the history of science for a global audience. Join us for her very special seminar! Of course, free food will be served!
