Latest Events Info
1. SummerFest Online: Hopin Info Session and Test Event
If you're feeling unsure about how to use Hopin, the platform we will be running Summerfest Online on, then make sure you come along to UMSU Event's Info Session and Test Event. Held on Zoom at 2pm on Wednesday 2 February, they'll walk you through all the basics and make sure you know how to access your booth. It will also give you the opportunity to test how it all works, check your booth content and let them know if anything needs fixing.
Register for the Zoom event
here
.
It's also a good idea to brush up on the instructions that were sent to you on the 25 January (last week's Staff News) detailing how to access Hopin for the SummerFest Online Test Event (2 Feb).
And! For more info about Hopin and a video walkthrough from SummerFest last year, head to Hopin FAQs
here
.
2. Covid Safe Planning for Department Events
Before we can promote your event, Covid Safe checklists and other important planning steps must be completed and signed off by UMSU Events. Keep an eye on your Basecamp jobs for more details. Please get in touch with UMSU Events if you have any questions about Covid Safe requirements
3. SummerFest Key Dates and Info
The
SummerFest Planning
page on the Resource Hub is
the
place to visit for all our upcoming Summerfest info! It has important info, deadlines and links. Make sure you check it regularly so you don't miss any updated news.
