We've heard your feedback and want to make sure everyone in UMSU gets to turn their project dreams into a reality! So, we'll be reopening the 'Request a Project' form for Semester 2 today — but with some slight tweaks to our Basecamp workflow.

2. NEW Self-Service Design Option  — Figma Pilot Release

We've figma'd out how you can make your own designs, minus the stress. Figma is an optional Design tool/resource which will enable departments to make their own designs using a super simple template. (YAY!) 

Our team has set up templates for you to create your own promo visuals, if you want to. Think like a creative bowling alley with super intuitive bumpers up. Then, you simply export and chuck them into a Request a Project form and BOOM, done. (The Design team do still need to approve!)

3. NEW Ida Bar Booking System — Check it out!

Making a booking for the Ida just got a whole lot easier! All events bookings can now be done via our website HERE (woohoo!). Please make sure to submit any booking requests via the website NOT via email. 

Online bookings for the pop-up bar and food/alcohol packages coming soon...

4. Tues 16 & Tues 23 August — Don't forget: CME closed for review!

CME will be unavailable on Tuesday 16 and Tuesday 23 August for review. Support will not be available on these days and may be reduced while we work through solutions for improved service provision.

5. LCD Callouts — Submit your Sem 2 Collectives

Want to get some extra promo for your collectives this sem? Flick Comms an email with the LCD file for any of your Sem 2 collectives and we'll get them up on the screens around Union House.

6. Staff Directory (new!) — ICYMI!

We hope you’ve been able to use the UMSU Staff Directory on the Intranet. No longer do you have to trawl through emails to find who works where and what their contact details are.  There's also a web tile on the intranet landing page. Included in the Directory is your name, Job Title, Email Address, Phone Number, and Profile Photo. 

Please review your details on the directory. If there are any inconsistencies with your Title, please get in touch with Comms and we can update it. Remember you can update the details by logging in.

If you wish to update your photo and phone number:

1. You can add a photo if you like here after you login. Click 'edit profile' and upload.
