Important Updates
1. UMSU Whole Org Meeting — Thursday 27 October, 3pm

Time for everyone to get together for a big meeting! We are having a whole org meeting on the 27th of October at 3pm, after which we'll head to the Ida for a drink and Jaffle!

There is capacity to attend online and in person! We will host the meeting in the Lecture Theatre on Level 4 of Building 168. Please RSVP via this link as soon as possible! See ya there!

2. SWOTVAC / Exam Time issues — Refer to UMSU Advocacy for help

If you have students reaching out to you for help when they have trouble with the University, please point them straight to our Advocacy team. These amazing folks are equipped to handle the curliest of questions and this direct referral minimises the exhaustion of having to repeat the same issue a hundred times in search of assistance.

Reminders
3. Pick up your shiny new office keys! — Pop over to see Tim L

For those needing their office keys, you can come pick them up anytime from Tim's office on Level 2 of Building 168, just next to the link bridge to Arts & Culture.

4. Let students know where to find you — Your socials packages are ready and waiting

Your socials packages are ready and waiting for you to spread the news about our move to Building 168. If you need to edit your text a little bit because you're taking a little longer to settle in, feel free! Get the word out about your new digs and how students can best get in touch as we also move into SWOTVAC territory.

Packages HERE.

5. Building Defects — Don't forget to report issues you see!

There will be a lot of teething issues in the next few weeks. Please use the form below to submit any defect notices. Please attach photos clearly showing the defect and its location. Note, this is not for significant architectural changes or new furniture requests, more so if your desk is not working, or there's chipped paint or construction debris left around - anything that a builder can come in and fix.

Please don't hesitate to report—even if you're sure you're the fifth person to see it! Better to have it reported than not.

The form is located HERE.
