Important Updates
1. End of Year Closure — Happy Holidays!

UMSU will shut for the holiday period from Saturday 24 Dec and reopen Tuesday 3 Jan. A reminder that staff are not required to take annual leave during this period but that these days are "Grace and Favour" days. Staff will still receive their usual pay for these days. More info can be found HERE.

2. Annual Leave Loading Payout — Woohoo!

You might have noticed something extra in your pay last week! Under the Enterprise Agreement (clause 33.1) the year's worth of annual leave loading is paid out in one lump sum in the first week of December rather than at the times you take annual leave. As always reach out to Tim if you have any questions!
