BLOP BLOP BLOP, an experimental curatorial intensive led by Beatrice Rubio-Gabriel. Students will meet with Beatrice over four sessions to work collaboratively towards a creative outcome. Sessions will include explorations of experimental and alternate exhibition models, brainstorming of possible exhibition themes and formats, national and international contextualisation, critical discussions of works to be included, writing, and eventually installation. In line with the pedagogical ethos of the GPG, the intensive will be geared toward exploration and innovation, collaboration and student-led outcomes. We encourage attendance at all four Blop Blop Blop sessions scheduled throughout Semester Two, 2024.
BLOP BLOP BLOP takes direct inspiration from blip blip blip, a curatorial programme founded in Leeds UK, committed to examining and fostering relationships between contemporary art practice and art education.
