Elliot Wallace Brown and Fiona Shewan

16 October - 7 November 2025
Opening celebration: Thursday 16 October, 5-7pm

Hand made books from and beyond the artists' 2025 Winter Arts Lab Residency will be available to view in the gallery.

Constellate Press is a collaboration between artists Elliot Wallace Brown and Fiona Shewan which explores pattern, phenomena, and interconnectedness by working with and expanding the medium of hand-made books. Drawing from shared interests and philosophies to practice, these two artists work in an embodied way, relaying ideas and inspiration to produce a network of ideas and images in book format. Influenced by symbiotic relationships found in the natural world, these artists have built a collaborative practice built on reciprocity that mimics star placements in the sky. The result is a constellation of ideas and images woven together in book forms.
