Join master artist Nila for an evening of Zen drawing exercises. Practice drawing while enhancing your concentration and meditation skills. Express your emotions and ideas through drawing techniques designed to steady your busy mind and connect you with your creative self.

In this tranquil session, you'll relax, connect with your inner artist, and discover your curiosity. Find the courage to make marks and uncover deeper meanings in your drawing practice.

**This workshop is facilitated by Art Class with Nila in collaboration with UMSU.

Nila Shekarvand is a multi-disciplinary artist and arts educator specialising in drawing, painting, textiles, multimedia, and participatory art projects. She earned a Master’s in Contemporary Art from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music and has been conducting research at the University of Melbourne and teaching at the Graduate Student Association since 2020.

Nila's art programs designed for tertiary students combine arts-based learning with linguistics and community involvement, fostering creative communication and shared understanding. Her gallery-affiliated workshops equip graduates with essential skills for future endeavors. Dedicated to nurturing creativity and innovation, she believes artistic skills are vital for personal and professional growth.
