Presented as part of MUDfest 2025, Spectrum showcases the work of sixteen student artists from the University of Melbourne, working across painting, sculpture, video and installation. The exhibition forms part of a broader celebration of student creativity, with MUDfest transforming campus spaces into platforms for experimentation, expression, and collaboration.

Responding loosely to this year’s festival theme, Refraction, the works in Spectrum reflect a range of individual perspectives, materials and approaches. Rather than offering a singular response, the exhibition embraces multiplicity of form, process and point of view, highlighting the diversity of student practice across the visual arts.
