Help us make the University of Melbourne take real action against racism — a message from the UMSU People of Colour Department.
Racism at UniMelb isn't something we should tolerate.
First and foremost I express my solidarity with all those who have and continue to experience racism in all parts of their life and University experience.
Your experiences are important to us. We thank you for being a part of this ongoing conversation.
Join us in helping make a change.
Sincerely,
Anyang Wal

Dear friends, the Racism Survey is a crucial step towards confronting racism at UniMelb with care, compassion, and accountability.
It gives students space to share lived experiences, identify harm, and push for stronger prevention, support, and response.
Listening must lead to action as we work towards a safer, more inclusive, and respectful university community.
We are always here for you.
