Hi everyone!!
We will be holding our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Week 3, Friday 9th of August from 5:15pm – 6:30pm. You can attend at Building 189 Room 102, where we’ll be providing free pizza and drinks. We'll still be holding our regular meetup from 4:00-7:00pm but we'll be taking a break to hold the AGM. Note that if all goes smoothly, the AGM might only take around half an hour.
At this meeting we will be electing the new executive committee and discussing any ideas that can be implemented in the future! The committee positions available are:
- President
- Treasurer
- Secretary
Anyone is free to nominate themselves and no prior experience is required! Remember that positions of responsibility like these look good on your CV!
For the meeting to be successful and for the club to continue affiliation, we require 20 University of Melbourne club members to attend. So please make sure to come, even if you don’t intend to run for a committee position!
