DES 2026 Semester 1 SGM

You are hereby given notice that a Special General Meeting (SGM) of the Design Student Society (DES) will be rescheduled to Friday 29/05/2026 at 5:00 PM at the SINGAPORE THEATRE (MSD).

The following items will be addressed at the SGM:

1. Semester 1 Performance Review
The committee will present a review of DES's activities, events, and operations over Semester 1, including academic, social, and partnership initiatives.

2. Proposed Constitutional Amendment
A vote will be held on a proposed amendment to the DES Constitution. The proposed amendment will be distributed to members at the meeting.

3. Election for the following positions:

• Secretary

All current financial members are encouraged to attend. Please note that a quorum of 20 University of Melbourne student members is required for the meeting to proceed.
