Hey Musexuals!
The time has come once again to decide the future of MUSEX at our Annual General Meeting.
This year's AGM will be held next Wednesday 6th March at 10:30 AM in the Flexible Learning Space, 103 on Level 1 Old Arts. Not sure where this is? Have a look at the map below:

If you can't join us in person, you'll also be able to join via Zoom using the following link:

At this Annual General Meeting, you'll get a chance to have your say and vote in the new committee who will run all your amazing events for the next year! The club's outgoing committee will also present reports on our activities and finances over the past year.
All Melbourne Uni student members of the club will also get the chance to run for committee positions, so if you love MUSEX events and want to get involved in the club, now's your chance! All nominations and voting for the new committee will happen during the meeting, so make sure you come along if you're keen to run! The roles available for nomination and election at this year's AGM are:
The Executive Committee
- President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Vice-President
The Non-Executive Committee
- 2x General Committee Members
- Social Media Coordinator
- Marketing Coordinator
- 2x Event Coordinators
- 2x Welfare Officers
- Inbound Coordinator
- Outbound Coordinator
There's one more thing: to be eligible to vote, run for committee positions, and help us make decisions at the AGM, you need to make sure your club membership is up to date. You can renew your membership for 2024 here!
Attached to this notice email, you'll find a few interesting things to have a read through:
- The MUSEX Constitution - this is the document that governs our club
- The AGM Agenda - this outlines what we will discuss during the AGM
- The Committee Roles and FAQ - if you're interested in running for the committee, or just curious about who we are and what we do, this handy document explains all the available roles!
We need a minimum number of student members to attend in order for the meeting to be valid, and for us to continue being able to organise the events you all love. So, please come along and support MUSEX!
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out; we love to hear from you!
See you at the AGM!
