WESS x WCP Policy Hackathon

POLICY HACKATHON HAPPENING NEXT THURSDAY!
In collaboration with WESS’ sponsor, the Department of Treasury and Finance, and Women in Commerce and Politics (WCP), join us in the competition of the semester! The Policy Hackathon offers you the chance to discuss and develop real policy topics, and present them to a panelist of experienced policy professionals!
Research and form your own policy plan in response to a prompt, in a group, then present your policy idea to a panel of judges, for the chance to win a day at DTF headquarters!

This event will not only provide you with real hands-on experience in the world of policy, but also offer you the chance to gain exclusive contact with policy professionals (especially if you win 😉)

1st prize: a day of networking and exclusive insight into the work at DTF headquarters
2nd prize: a coffee voucher from scholar & co

WESS will also be hosting a policy workshop the night before. It is encouraged for students to join the WESS Policy Workshop beforehand to get familiarised with the competition. Join us in discussing current policies while gaining valuable insights from experienced professionals.
