The University of Melbourne Student Union wishes to express its deepest sympathies with the student and staff community affected by the devastating landslides and flooding in Nepal and Tibet. 

The loss of life and destruction bought by this event is almost incomprehensible, and we send our thoughts to those affected.

We would like to invite the University community and beyond to attend a candlelight vigil at the Amphitheatre on Parkville Campus on Thursday evening from 6:30–7:30pm. 
The Amphitheatre is located behind the Sidney Myer Asia Centre on Swanston Street.
