Live Music Lineup

Lime Cordiale (headlining)

Hailing from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Lime Cordiale are one of Australia’s coolest bands right now. After returning from their year-long tour of sell-out headline shows in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the UK, brothers Louis and Oli are bringing their glorious cruisey hook-laden surf-rock jams straight to you as our headliners for SummerFest 2020!

With a 2017 album under their belt and a brand-new one on the way, you’ll be grooving to the likes of their hit tracks ‘Inappropriate Behaviour’, ‘Robbery’ and ‘Money’ – which catapulted the band into the spotlight and onto the top of our top played playlists last year. Fans of triple j’s Like A Version will also know their cover of Divinyls – I Touch Myself, which went viral after they recorded it live in September last year. You won’t want to miss this one!

Performer, photographer, visual artist, DJ and vocal powerhouse, Kira Puru is widely respected as one of Australia’s biggest voices. And, UMSU are bringing her powerhouse vocals and stadium-ready swagger straight to you for SummerFest 2020! Puru quickly gathered a cult following with the hypnotic single Tension which has amassed 2.3 million streams. The September 2018 release of her self-titled EP showcased an exhilarating evolution. Second single Molotov landed at #75 on the triple j hottest 100 and has clocked up over 2.6 million streams.

Cable Ties

Cable Ties are a fierce local trio who have been delivering post-punk and garage rock to their cult-following since their inception in 2015.  They take the three-minute punk burner and stretch it past breaking point to deliver smouldering feminist anthems. Cable Ties have supported artists such as Joan Jett, The Kills, Camp Cope and Cash Savage, and won Best Hard Rock Act at the 2017 National Live Music Awards, and the Corner Music Award in 2017, for their debut self-titled album. Guaranteed a head-banger, they’ll be opening up our mainstage at SummerFest 2020!
