This week, for our first screening with our newly elected committee, join us and Egyptian Club for 2023's Voy! Voy! Voy!

Based on a true story, this sports comedy tells the story of protagonist Hassan, who fakes blindness in order to escape his home in Egypt by joining a team of blind footballers headed for Poland.
Voy! Voy! Voy! saw director Omal Hilal nominated for best African film, best director, best producer, best screenplay, best soundtrack, and best cinematography at the 2024 Septimus awards, winning the latter category.
