A statement on Ukraine

(content warning: war and violence, in no explicit detail).

UMSU condemns any military action, war or non-peaceful actions – whether it be domestically or internationally. We stand in solidarity with Ukraine against current military attacks from Russia. UMSU recognises that this may be a difficult time for our Ukrainian and Russian students and encourages them to seek support from the University’s Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS) or UMSU Advocacy for advice if this is affecting their studies in any way.
