Dear All,
We hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out to provide an important update regarding the University of Melbourne Student Union (UMSU) VCE Summer School (VCESS) program for January 2025.
As many of you are aware, VCESS was not held in January 2024 following an extensive review of our volunteer programs and strategic roadmap. This review was undertaken to ensure that UMSU continues to deliver high-quality programs that meet the needs of our students and volunteers. The review process included consultations with UMSU members, University of Melbourne staff, and the VCESS community.
After careful consideration and evaluation, UMSU has decided that VCESS will also not proceed in January 2025. We understand that this news may be disappointing. However, please know that this decision is made with the intention of ensuring the best possible outcome for UMSU members and volunteers. We remain committed to providing a diverse range of student support programs and appreciate your understanding.
