Pressreader: free online magazines and newspapers

The Rowdy brings you a new e-service PressReader, giving you access to over 7000 newspapers and magazines from all over the world –  in a bunch of different languages! You can access this with the Rowdy via an app on your favourite device, or through the website here.

Sign up with your UniMelb email address. It’s online and it’s FREE (ignore the “complementary access” countdown, it’s always free).

How to sign up (video above also )

• Download the Press Reader App or go to www.pressreader.com
• Click on “Sign in”
• Click “library or group”
• Type “Rowden White” into the search bar
• Select the Rowdy when it pops up
• Click “sign up”
• Use your UNIMELB email address to sign up
• A verification email will be sent to you to confirm your registration (they can be a little slow)
• Click the link in the verification email to finalise your sign up
• You can continue to use the free Rowdy PR account as long as you have a valid UNIMELB email
