Student Theatre Groups
Student theatre groups are groups of students who produce and perform their own shows. We welcome ALL types of performance! We have over 20 affiliated student theatre groups. You can find one you’d like to join in the list below or you can start your own group.
How Do I Join a Student Theatre Group?
Hooray! Student Theatre Groups would love to have you involved. There's a bunch of ways to get started:
1. Check out the Student Theatre Groups below, and follow them on Instagram to see what they're producing, plus all their callouts and auditions.
2. Follow Union House Theatre on Instagram and sign up to our weekly eNewsletter Followspot — we regularly feature callout and audition opportunities (we also have heaps of resources on our website, if you want all the details of theatre life!)
3. Join our workshops! Every semester we have a bountiful offering from acting and writing workshops, to lighting, sound, marketing and more. We list them here, and also on Instagram and our eNewsletter Followspot.

Open Groups
The following groups welcome new students every year. They usually recruit people throughout the year and will do call-outs for specific roles for each production. Want to check out current callouts and auditions? Head to our Audition & Callouts page.
Closed Groups
Don’t get upset, it isn’t because they don’t like you, these groups just aren’t open to ALL students e.g you have to be living at college to be in a college production or studying medicine to be in the Med Revue.
