Xanthe Beesley – Artistic Director/Theatre Coordinator
Xanthe’s role is to provide support and guidance for students embarking on performance projects. Whether you are seeking particular advice on a project, wanting a sounding board for an idea, looking for career guidance, or some assistance to solve a problem, Xanthe can help! Come in and discuss ideas, pitch a project or find out what UHT has on offer and which of our programs might be great for you! Xanthe also curates the UHT programs, directs shows, runs workshops and mentors students in theatre-making, producing and more!

Allen Laverty – Stage Carpenter/Mechanist
Whether you have a dream and no idea how to make it, or you are building a theatre set and it isn’t quite working out how you’d hoped, our Stage Carpenter can do everything except build it for you!

Tom Backhaus – Production Coordinator
Tom's role is to help you out with all the logistical aspects of a theatre production. He is the one to see for a run down of the responsibilities of key production roles, how to create an effective and realistic production schedule, and how to bring together all the required technical and logistical elements successfully and safely.

Jaide Camilleri – Marketing and Development
Want to promote your production and grow your Student Theatre Group? Want to share and connect with the UHT community? Jaide is here to help! They manage the website, Facebook and Instagram, as well as being the boss of Union House Theatre's weekly theatre enews ‘Followspot’.
