Become a Rowden White Library volunteer!

Gain experience, make friends and learn new skills in a relaxed and welcoming library environment while helping with events and activities and supporting the library team with general tasks.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Rowden White Library Volunteers will help with a variety of activities including:  

  • Providing directional information and ensuring visitors to the library receive a warm and friendly welcome

  • General tidying of library spaces 

  • Answering general queries about library memberships, loan limits, etc. 

  • Low level tech support such as helping students with PS5, Switch, and gaming machine bookings 

  • Distributing posters and talking to students about events and workshops

  • Promoting the library through social media content such as fun Instagram posts

  • Helping with workshops and events in the library

 

You'll also be rewarded with a Melbourne Plus badge!
