Who are we?
The Sexual Harm Response Coordinators (SHRC’s) are a team of UMSU staff located in the Advocacy and Legal service.
We provide independent, confidential and trauma-informed support and advice for people affected by sexual violence, intimate partner violence or family violence.
If you or someone you know has been affected, we are here to help.
We can:
- Help you access support services.
- Assist you to make a formal complaint to UMSU, the University, or the police, if you wish.
- Provide support with related academic issues.
- Provide advice to student leaders.
We have a physical office on Level 2 of Building 168, within the UMSU Advocacy and Legal space.

How do I book an appointment?

Once you submit the form, it will be reviewed by the UMSU Advocacy Intake Coordinator, who will make sure a Sexual Harm Response Coordinator gets back to you.
