Get Legal Help

The UMSU Legal Service is currently experiencing high demand, resulting in longer wait times. We try and respond to all enquiries within 5 business days, however, we must prioritise matters based on their urgency, so you may receive a response earlier or later than this timeframe. If there are any urgent deadlines in your matter, please let us know in your contact form so we can try and respond to you in time.

To help the legal service respond to your enquiry as quickly as possible, please ensure you attach all relevant documentation to your contact form and include the names of any other people involved in your dispute.

We are working hard to respond to all enquiries in a timely way, however, if you need urgent legal advice, please contact Victoria Legal Aid here. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience at this time.

If you need to attach multiple documents, please use a zip file. You can find instructions for how to create a zip file on Windows here and on a Mac here.

If you need legal help, please submit the contact form below.
