๐ŸŽ‰ About MUDfest

MUDfest is the University of Melbourne Student Unionโ€™s (UMSU) biennial student-run arts festival โ€” a celebration of bold ideas, experimental art, and student creativity in all forms. Think of it as Melbourne Fringe, but made by and for students.

The 2025 festival will take place across key Student Precinct venues:

  • Arts and Cultural Building (BN 159)

  • Student Pavilion (BN 162)

  • Market Hall (BN 189)

  • Festival Hub @ IDA Bar (BN 168)

As Artist Liaison, you'll play a vital role in ensuring each artformโ€™s program is delivered smoothly, creatively, and in close collaboration with artists and the MUDfest Creative Producers โ€” your 2025 Creative Arts OBs, Tianyi and Riya.

๐Ÿ’ผ Role Overview

Artist Liaisons are the bridge between the Production Team and student artists. Youโ€™ll be the main point of contact for your artform, helping artists bring their work to life across MUDfest venues, and ensuring the program runs smoothly from start to finish.

Youโ€™ll gain real-world experience in:

  • Festival coordination

  • Artistic development support

  • Creative problem solving

  • Team-based project delivery
