No Bad Laughs: Comedy at the Student Union

It's comedy at the student union! UMSU Events are hosting stand up comedians from Melbourne International Comedy Festival in Buidling 168, and Union House Theatre are filling the Guild Theatre with student comedy, dance and physical theatre.

Need to break up your studies with a laugh? 

UMSU Events and Union House Theatre are bringing you a free taste of Melbourne's best up-and-coming comedy talent — just in time for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Drop into Level 1, Building 168 for two nights of fresh and funny performances from some of the most exciting acts on the Melbourne circuit.

First night will be Hosted by Tor Synder, featuring He Huang, Charlie Lewin, Nick Robertson, Robyn Reynolds, Nick Schuller, Annie Louey and Sez.

The second night will be hosted by Rowan Thambar, featuring Jordan Barr, Urvi Majumdar, Gabbi Bolt, Henry Yan, Meg Jager, Isabelle Carney and more.

NO BAD LAUGHS: Physical Comedy
Laugh out loud as you witness premiere work from student comedians.

For just two nights, join the audience for a curated program of short comedy works. No Bad Laughs: Physical Comedy is dedicated to physical comedy in all its fantastic forms. Led and devised by student performers, it provides space for new creatives from all styles to showcase their passion and talent for comedy.

Featuring a diverse range of student artists from dancers, theatre makers, clowns and more! No Bad Laughs: Physical Comedy will give you a taste of student led comedy at its finest. Raw, silly, and loads of fun.
