The Women’s Department exists to advocate for women and non-binary students on campus. We work to make our campuses, colleges and clubs a safe place for women, non-binary and gender diverse people, facilitate feminist activism, run campaigns, and host great events!

This year, your Women’s Officers are Micaela Rynne (she/her) and Akanksha Agarwal (she/her).

We’re so keen to be your Women’s Officers for the year, and we’re even more keen to work with and for you to make this university a better, safer and more supportive environment for all women, non-binary and gender diverse students.

Our goal for 2024 is simple – it’s to be representatives that are intersectional, inclusive and activist in all that we do, all of the time. We’ve got a lot of exciting things planned – from chill collectives and fun events to rallies and campaigns on issues that matter, there’s sure to be something for everyone to get involved with.

Drop us a message on our socials, send us an email or come hang out at one of our weekly collectives to get involved and join the movement to address the patriarchy on campus!
