Every year the UMSU Info Centre handles over 50,000 enquiries from students just like you! We’re your one-stop shop for help on campus and online, and we can help direct you to the services or support you need.

Equipment Booking & Hire

Labcoats

We hire out labcoats for daily or semesterly hire - no booking required! It's $5 for the day, or $35 ($10 hire fee + $25 deposit) for the semester. Labcoats can also be purchased online from the University Specialist Stores.

Picnic Rugs, Tables & Eskis (Coolers) for Clubs

We loan out picnic rugs, tables, eskis, first aid kits and BBQ cleaning packs for club use - all for free!

BBQs (Barbecues)

BBQs are no longer loaned out by UMSU, however you can use the on-campus BBQs for free by booking them on DiBS.

We strongly recommend cleaning the on-campus BBQs with our free BBQ cleaning kits before cooking. BBQ cleaning kits can also be booked via DiBS.

JP (Justice of the Peace) Service

The JP is currently on leave and unavailable for appointments.

You can search for JPs near you on the Justice Victoria website, or visit your local pharmacy.

Lost Property

Lost property is currently stored in G10 of Old Union House (an external room next to the post boxes on the eastern side of the building.)

It is open for checking from 4-4:30pm on Mondays, and 3:30-4pm on Thursdays.
