Equipment Booking & Hire
We hire out labcoats for daily or semesterly hire - no booking required! It's $5 for the day, or $35 ($10 hire fee + $25 deposit) for the semester. Labcoats can also be purchased from the Specialist Stores in the Chemistry building on campus for $33 - you can find them on Google Maps here.

Picnic Rugs, Tables & Eskis (Coolers) for Clubs
We loan out picnic rugs, tables, eskis, first aid kits and BBQ cleaning packs for club use - all for free!
These can be booked on the DiBS website here: https://go.unimelb.edu.au/dibs
BBQs are no longer loaned out by UMSU, however you can use the on-campus BBQs for free by booking them on DiBS.

We strongly recommend cleaning the on-campus BBQs with our free BBQ cleaning kits before cooking. BBQ cleaning kits can also be booked via DiBS.
JP (Justice of the Peace) Service
The Student Union has a Justice of the Peace who can certify documents for free. The JP's availablility is currently 9:00am-3:00pm Monday to Thursday.

Lost Property
Most lost property from across the University is handed in to the Information Centre. Please note that some locations—such as on-campus sport and gym venues—manage their own lost property. Items may also be held by University Security.
You can report a lost item via our Lost Property Database, which allows us to contact you if your item is handed in to us or security. To submit a report, follow the link, and enter "The University of Melbourne" in the Venue Location field, here: Report an Item on ItsFound.
