Have you been impacted by circumstances outside of your control? Have they made you unable to meet the academic requirements to pass your subject?  

The University has two separate processes to help people in this situation: Special Consideration and Fee Remission. It is very important that you know the difference between them before you put in an application. While these processes are similar, they have different criteria and documentation requirements, as well as outcomes.
