Calling Student Performers

Paid Gigs for Student Performers & Musicians in Semester 1, 2026!

Are you a musician, DJ, comedian, dancer, visual artist, or creative performer? UMSU continues to build a roster of student performers for a range of paid gigs in Semester 1, 2026.

From small workshops and gatherings to festivals and cultural celebrations — we're looking for student performers, collectives, and creative groups to feature in our Events Program.

To kick things off, we’re especially keen to hear from:

• Student bands for Tuesday Amphitheatre/Market Hall gigs, and other opportunities
• DJs from a range of styles
• Cultural performers (e.g. solo musical artists, music and dance) for Ida Bar music programming, Night Market and other cultural events in Sem 1

UMSU is home to student artists breaking out a variety of talents across the stage, canvas, in print, and on the radio. You could join the union’s legacy, whether it’s your first gig or your 100th, and showcase your work at our events.

We’ll handle production — you just need to bring your own equipment (e.g. artist gear, instruments and backline if needed).
