Satellite Campus Students Working Group

The UMSU Satellite Campus Students Working Group exists to ensure students studying at University of Melbourne campuses and teaching sites outside Parkville are meaningfully represented in UMSU decision-making. The Working Group provides a platform for students to share their lived experiences, identify barriers to access, engagement, and support, and develop practical recommendations to improve equity, connection, and service delivery across all University locations.

Membership

The Working Group consists of the following ex-officio members:

Lushy Chinganya (UMSU President)
Daniel Motika (UMSU General Secretary)
TBD (Southbank Campus Co-ordinator)
Ian Adams (Burnley Campus Co-ordinator)

The 2026 Co-convenors of the working group are:

Lushy Chinganya
Saaisha Vohra

Any student who is currently enrolled in atleast one subject which is based entirley on one of Southbank, Burnley, Werribee, Creswick, Dookie or Shepperton.
