As a representative body for all University of Melbourne students, UMSU truly is for everyone.
We are run for students, by students, and our aim is to make sure your time at university is as enjoyable, engaging and well-supported as possible. All students are invited to actively engage with us, to find out what we can offer you and how you can contribute to this vibrant community.
We are governed by an elected Students’ Council, which meets regularly, and meetings are open to all students. Departments of UMSU also hold their own committee meetings and collectives, providing all students with a chance to have their say in the direction and activities of the student union. The General Secretary’s office is located on the 2nd floor of Building 168 with the rest of your student representatives.
